This hotel should not be advertised as "near Union Station." It is a 2 mile walk and should only be described as such if it is a reasonable distance. The free shuttle to the station did not run between 11am and 5pm. What good is that to anyone? We were charged for the room safe at the hotel even though we did not use it or request it. When we questioned this we were told by the staff that everybody has to pay for it whether you use it or not. In that case it should be included in the room price when you book it so you know what you are paying for. In effect it became a compulsory add on. This is unacceptable and totally ridiculous. The hotel seemed only interested in taking as much money from you as possible. Very poor.

The airconditioning at the hotel was excellent good relief for the heat.The driver Michael who drove the shuttle service

There was no advertising that there was a shuttle available from station to hotel. Road was closed and so walking took almost 1hr. Not what we would call near the station. Also at hotel, it took check in staff a long time to find our booking

The shuttle drivers were awesome, but my room had weird electrical issues.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. I mostly enjoyed the high speed Internet in the room. I think every hotel should have this available to it's guests.

The shuttle bus that supposidly took guests to union station only fit 13 people so you had to sign up a day or 2 before in order to be able to use this service and everytime I tried to sign up or the shuttle thy would tell me the shuttle is full and there is no space so I never go to use the shuttle at all during my stay. I ended up having to call a can everytime I wanted to go to the station which cost me around 12$ (one way) depending on the traffic. In short, the shuttle service was completly useless and therefore the location of the hotel was very inconviniant and I don't believe I will be staying there again. Also, There wasn't anybody around to help with my luggage.

Shuttle to Union Station very appreciated. Comfortable bed. Breakfast offered variety and good service. (Janice worked very hard to keep up with demand)

Not very helpful at front desk to give us clear information about shuttle times. Seemed put out when we asked. We experienced some unnecessary problems because of this/

The room wasvery comfy and tidy. Breakfast was satisfactory, with a good selection to start the day. The hotel offers convenient amenities such as a business center with free high-speed Internet access and an exercise room, beneficial for my business needs.

The area surrounding the hotel raised safety concerns.

Had immaculate, cheap room that was kept clean. There was exceptionally comfortable bed, coffee/tea making machines, iron and ironing board, and a work desk. The private parking was on site, nice service.

The location 'near Union Station' is misleading. The hotel is a considerable distance from the station, and the shuttle bus does not operate between 1100 and 1700.

Initial impressions were concerning due to the surrounding neighborhood. Staff interactions were frustrating. Attempts to get taxi assistance were met with indifference. A break-in incident during our outing led to a lack of support from the hotel when we needed it most. Despite these issues, the room itself was spacious, accommodating our family well, and there was a surprisingly inviting array of Spanish food options nearby.

The room was spacious with excellent sized beds. Shuttle bus is really useful, if a bit erratic.

Breakfast was the same every day. Location is noisy with a busy road at the front and a busy railway at the rear.

The staff was very helpful and the breakfest was good.

The hotel is not near Union Station. The shuttle that ran from the hotel to Union Station had limited hours. There neighborhood that the hotel was located in was poor and run down. There was a long wait for taxis from the hotel I was turned down 4 times by taxi drivers who would not take me to the hotel. There is a train that runs behind the hotel that can be heard at all hours

The room was pretty comfy, with enough space for us to move around, nice. I really appreciated the clean bathroom and effective air conditioning. But honestly, the walls are super thin, so I heard every little noise from the hall. The decor is nice for a budget spot, but the overall size was a bit of a squeeze for a family. Still, the bed was surprisingly cozy after a long day. They had some decent amenities too, like a fridge and microwave, which helped with our snacks.

Much confusion about the room rate

the front desk staff - Donald - in particular. Friendly, had time to talk with you & answered all questions .....also like the shuttle service to Union Station - driver very caring & helpful
